Happy New Year! Let Your Light Shine!

Hi All!

Hope you’re having a wonderful New Year. It’s been a long time since I’ve written but with the new year upon us I figured now would be a good time.

I had previously mentioned being in talks with a production company last year for one of my properties. Well, that fell through which was a good thing. I’m honestly fine with it and while nothing was lost, I gained a whole lot more. Rerouting from a closed door will always lead to a more beautiful, fitting one.

Stage 32 links professionals in the entertainment industry including directors, writers, actors and entertainment staff.

I recently joined “Stage32” which the site describes as one that “links professionals in the entertainment industry including directors, writers, actors and entertainment staff. It caters to film industry professionals with featured bloggers, online education taught by industry executives, news from Hollywood and filming locations around the world, Stage 32 meetups page, an online lounge and a jobs page that allows members to connect with others on film ventures, along with standard social media functions.” You can find my profile here: https://www.stage32.com/LeonardoRamirez

More on this fella later…

It’s an amazing support group for creatives that I haven’t been able to find through other means. We, as creatives, need each to keep each other encouraged but that goes for anything in life. It’s always good to have a tribe. This a great group for that. It also supplies the means to fine tune a pitch, screenplay, treatment or show bible. I now have about 10-11 treatments that others on the site are helping me to fine tune. So now you know why I haven’t blogged in a while! I’m writing more screenplays and loving it. Here, I get to form relationships with entertainment professionals that I can pitch directly to or collaborate with. We shall see what the future holds!

I just finished a show pilot for an animated kids’ show titled, “Agents of C.O.W.” And like I mentioned, there are many other stories in the works for screenplays and such. It’s been a huge personal boost for me since my brown-eyed girl went to university. It’s been a tough adjustment (why didn’t somebody warn me??) but she’ll be back home before too long.

Our annual birthday eve dinner. We’ve kept this date since she was 11 months old and haven’t missed one yet. This was our 21st.

There’s my short update for now. My prayer for you is that healing floods your soul and washes away the disappointments of the past year. That everything you touch in the coming year be blessed and that the light you shine casts a shadow on anything that threatens your peace. Despite whatever torrential sea you may have traversed last year or what you see or hear around you today, it’s going to be the year that your light ignites and shines for the world to see.

Mucho love. Chat soon!
